What’s in it? Peanut Butter: creamy or crunchy-your choice Mustard: again, your choice, plain yellow is fine if that's what you have, the best is the stone ground kind.
What should we know? Not being a sweet fanatic, when my young children wanted PB&J's I decided to make it my own way.
Bread Type? Light Wheat
What’s in it? Peanut butter (I prefer crunchy, but it's your preference) and Marshmallow Fluff (original flavor is the best).
What should we know? Spread one slice of bread with a thick layer of chunky peanut butter, the other slice with a super thick layer of fluff (I prefer a 2:1 ratio of fluff to pb), then squish the slices together. It is best enjoyed sliced diagonally.
Bread Type? white or light wheat
What’s in it? Peanut butter and butter.
What should we know? Toast two slices of bread to an even golden-brown. Spread peanut butter on one slice, butter on the other. Slap together. Eat.

What’s in it? I prefer an ”Open-faced” sandwich. Just spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread, put about 2 Tbsp of ketchup on top of that and then 2-3 slices of semi-crisp bacon. You don’t want the bacon too ”done” because you put the whole thing back in the oven under the broiler until the ketchup and peanut butter begin to bubble.
What should we know? I know what you’re thinking…”Gross” but honestly, it’s delicious. Give it a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Patak’s Mixed pickle in oil: a hot Indian relish they’ve stopped making or importing into Canada anyway, dammit.
What should we know? Other Indian hot pickles can be used, but the mixed pickle gives a rounded-out flavour a plain mango or lime pickle can’t match. The karambdas are special.
Bread Type? White or whole wheat
What’s in it? Spread creamy processed peanut butter (Skippy, for instance) on one slice of the bread and honey on the other. Add white corn tortilla chips on top of the peanut butter, and slap the slices together. Press down somewhat to smash the chips.
What should we know? For a while in elementary school, my mom tried to play Suzy Homemaker and made my lunches every day. Unfortunately, her meals were incredibly predictable and boring (sandwich, tortilla or plain potato chips, can of fruit, and milk from the cafeteria.) I got so bored that I started eating my chips *inside* my sandwich to ease the monotony. Hence, this sandwich, the Gum-Shredder, was created -- and called thus because the sharp tortilla-chip shrapnel in the soft sandwich tends to cut your gums if you’re not careful.
Bread Type? white, soft, store-bought
What’s in it? Peanut Butter and sliced onion (any type) I use white of yellow

What’s in it? Butter or marge. Peanut butter. Sliced cucumber. Branston pickle. Sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
What should we know? A little slather of butter or preferred margeish type spread on one slice or half of the roll. A thick layer of peanut butter on the other - use smooth if you absolutely have to but I think it feels like wallpaper paste in the mouth, CRUNCHY ALL THE WAY FOR ME !! Embed a good dollop of Branstons in the bed of PB. Place a generous amount of cucumber slices over the top, add sea salt ( Maldons mmmmm ) and freshly ground black pepper. Squash top slice/other half o roll down and YUMMMMMM ! sounds odd but great combo of textures and flavours !

What’s in it? spread peanut butter on one or both slices of bread as thickly as you like (i go for the overstuff) dump on a handful of cornflakes (or cocoa puffs or whatever) put the slices together, then (this is the important part) press down gently but firmly to flatten the sandwich (you get a really satisfying sound)
What should we know? i advise against pita or tortilla for this sandwich unless you’re desperate

What’s in it? Shredded carrot, peanut butter, and raisins; has the best flavor and texture if you mix up the three filling ingredients together ahead of time and let them blend for a little while in the fridge. Or if you let the sandwich sit around for a little while.
What should we know? Other dried fruits would probably be good in here as well, if they’re small or chopped up. Also, some thinly sliced apple would be nice.
Bread Type? wheaty/grainy bread or sweetish white bread like potato or challah
What’s in it? Mix equal parts peanut butter and maple syrup and spread mixture on white bread. The bread will end up shredded. Eat the mess with a spoon.

What’s in it? Peanut butter
Mayonaise
Ripe banana (not completely yellow, nor too spotty)
What should we know? On the first slice a generous coating of peanut butter on the other a generous coating of mayo (about the same amount). Slice the banana into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick pieces and place in an even layer on mayo side. Should be a little over 1/2 of a medium naner! Put the two sides together, eat the rest of the banana and then enjoy the sandwich.
